Forest School Holiday Clubs in Bristol

During Easter, Summer & Autumn School Holidays

Our holiday clubs at Henleaze Hideaway and Hortham Hideaway are open for bookings for children from any area and any school! The clubs are open to 4 -11 year olds, 9am - 3.30pm @ £32.00 per day. Children must be registered to start their Reception year in September of this year.

Each holiday club schedule is unique, the children will learn and practise bush craft skills, learn about local flora and fauna whilst having fun playing games and exploring.

Our sessions are designed to ensure the children will have plenty of play and socialising opportunities within a natural habitat. Children can expect to build dens, use traditional tools, hunt for creatures of the woods, prepare and cook fireside snacks, learn about nature and play woodland games.

Our leaders are fully qualified Forest School practitioners who value play and the forest school ethos. They hold up to date outdoor paediatric first aid and dbs certificates.

We are fortunate to spend all of each session outdoors in the fresh air. We have shelters for wet weather and the luxury of onsite toilet facilities.

COVID-19 POLICY

We adhere to government published guidelines on covid-19 secure holiday clubs. We are now open for bookings and will be following our Covid-19 risk assessment which can be found in the policies section of this website. Each session will have a maximum of 24 participants with up to 3 adults. We will therefore be spaced out in the woodland with 3 'pods' of 6-8 people as per the Governments guidelines. We have hand washing facilities and all equipment is cleaned between groups. When attending our scheme regularly we will strive to keep participants in the same pod to reduce mixing.
